東京オートサロン2024でトヨタGRヤリスのマイナーチェンジが発表されましたね。
良い具合に狂っていて良いです。(笑)

「バカじゃないの(良い意味で)」と思ってネット見ていたら、概ね皆同じ意見だったです。(笑)

車に詳しくない人に説明すると。
GRヤリスとは普通の乗用車(トヨタヤリス)をベースにメーカー自ら魔改造して競技に特化した車です。
車名にヤリスと入っていますがベース車との共有部品はほとんど無いんじゃないかな。

マイナーチェンジ前でもそこそこ狂っていたのに、今回はほぼ全面的に刷新したのではというくらい手が入っています。
散々文句言われていた箇所に徹底的に手を入れるといった手法は今までに聞いたことがありません。
(通常ならコストがかかりすぎるから営業側からダメと言われいる箇所を徹底的にやっている)

やべぇ・・・
すごい欲しい・・・

けど先立つものがぁ・・・

それはともかく。
GRヤリスを生成しようとしたのですが、どうもうまくイカない。
86やカムリ、マークXが混じったような車が生成されました。
ということであえて「トヨタ車」としました。
エンブレムは結構再現してくれるんだけどね。

う～ん。
BRZは一発で出てくるんだけどなぁ・
まだ学習が足りないのか？

The Toyota GR Yaris minor changes were announced at Tokyo Auto Salon 2024.
It's good and crazy. (Laughs)

I was looking at the internet thinking 'Are you stupid (in a good way)', but generally everyone had the same opinion. (laughs)

Let me explain to those who are not familiar with cars.
The GR Yaris is based on an ordinary passenger car (Toyota Yaris), which the manufacturer itself has remodelled to specialise in competitions.
Although it has "Yaris" in the name, there are hardly any parts shared with the base car.

Even before the minor change, the car was still a bit crazy, but this time it has been so modified that it looks as if it has been almost completely renewed.
I've never heard of such a method of thoroughly touching up a part that has been complained about a lot.
(Normally, the sales side would have said no because it would have cost too much, but they have thoroughly worked on the parts that were said to be no good.)

Oh, man...
I want one so bad...

But I can't afford it...

I'll work as hard as I can. (laughs)

Anyway...
I tried to generate a GR Yaris, but it didn't go well.
It generated a car that looked like a mixture of an 86, Camry and Mark X.
So I dared to call it a 'Toyota car'.
The emblems are reproduced pretty well, though.

Hmmm.
The BRZ comes up in one shot...
Have I not learnt enough yet?
