こんにちは、ライラです！
今日の当番も無事に終わりましたが、今日はいつも以上に忙しい一日でした。昼間は村の男たちからの要求に応えて、彼らは優しく気遣ってくれるので、身体的な負担もそこまで感じませんでした。でも、夜になると少し雰囲気が変わりました。夜の訪問者は、いつもよりも力強く、緊張感がありました。彼らに対応するのは少し大変でしたが、なんとか最後まで乗り切りました。
夜の訪問者から感謝の言葉をもらった瞬間、なんだか心に温かいものが流れ込みました。『このまま当番を続けてもいいかな』って、ふと思ったんです。今までは疲れてばかりだったけれど、今日は少しだけ満たされた気持ちになれたからかもしれません。
ところが、その瞬間、胸元のネックレスが少し光を失っているのに気づきました。今までずっとほのかに輝いていたのに、突然その光が消えたんです。それと同時に、下腹部に鋭い痛みが走りました。驚いて見てみると、そこには今まで見たことのない不気味な模様が浮かび上がっていました。まるで何かの呪文のような模様が体に描かれていたんです。
このままではいけないと感じたので、明日村長に相談するつもりです。この模様が何なのか、そしてネックレスの光が消えた理由を聞かなくちゃいけないですね。少し怖いけど、これが新しい何かの始まりかもしれません。

Today’s duty is done, and it was busier than usual. During the day, I answered the requests of the village men, and they were kind as always, making it easier for me to handle the physical demands. But when night came, things shifted a bit. The night visitors were stronger and more intense, and handling them took more effort, but I managed to get through it.
When I heard the night visitors say ‘thank you,’ something warm filled my heart. For the first time, I thought, ‘Maybe I can keep doing this.’ I usually feel so tired after my duties, but today, there was a small sense of fulfillment that I hadn’t felt before.
However, just as I had that thought, I noticed something strange. The necklace around my neck began to lose its glow. It had always had a faint light, but now, it was gone. And then, a sharp pain hit my lower abdomen. When I looked down, I saw strange markings—runes I had never seen before—etched into my skin, like some sort of spell.
I know something is wrong, so tomorrow, I’ll talk to the village chief about it. I need to understand what these markings mean and why the necklace lost its light. It’s a little scary, but I feel like this might be the start of something new.
